My clinical training included a practicum and internship in a community-based dual diagnosis partial hospitalization program, followed by extensive work in a correctional setting with civilly committed sex offenders. These experiences challenged me to look beyond labels and circumstances and reinforced my belief that every person is more than the worst moments of their life. They also strengthened my commitment to meeting every client with compassion, respect, and genuine curiosity.
Over the years, I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing trauma, neurodivergence, substance use disorders, and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Every client brings a unique story, and I believe the most effective therapy begins by recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to listen, collaborate, and help you discover practical tools and new perspectives that align with your goals, values, and the way you learn.
As long as you’re willing to show up for yourself, I’ll work just as hard to help you become the version of yourself you want to be. My hope is that every session leaves you feeling more confident, more hopeful, and better equipped to move forward. I truly love the work I do, and I look forward to meeting you.
